The Portrait
Daryl L. Fletcher is a nationally recognized equine-assisted services leader, behavioral health innovator, and technology founder working at the intersection of horses, healing, and measurable community impact. He is the Founder and Executive Director of SOOFA Ranch and the Founder and CEO of EquiCore Technologies, where he is helping build the infrastructure for the next generation of experiential behavioral health.
Over the past decade, Daryl has led the development of programs that expand access to equine-assisted therapy, learning, and youth development opportunities for underserved communities across Metro Atlanta and beyond. Under his leadership, SOOFA Ranch has served thousands of youth, veterans, and families, delivering structured programming that improves confidence, emotional regulation, communication skills, and leadership capacity through evidence-informed equine-assisted experiences. His work has supported participants navigating anxiety, trauma exposure, behavioral challenges, and life-transition barriers, with measurable improvements reported across multiple program cycles.
SOOFA Ranch’s impact has been strengthened through partnerships with schools, behavioral health providers, community organizations, municipalities, and national collaborators. The organization’s work has also been recognized through philanthropic investment, including support connected to the BeyGOOD Foundation, helping expand culturally responsive access to equine-assisted services for historically underserved populations.
As a PATH Intl. Certified Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), Daryl brings both clinical collaboration experience and frontline program leadership to his work. He remains intentionally connected to daily operations, often facilitating sessions, supporting trail programs, answering calls from families, and working directly with participants to stay grounded in the real needs of the communities SOOFA Ranch serves.
